The Advisor, Quality Assurance will be responsible for providing test support on multiple applications by defining Test Strategies on Functional and Automated changes. This will include review and approval of project SDLC Stage Gates with commit dates defined. Ensure a consistent QA Process utilization in all aspects of project oversight (plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate). Drive input to QA Manager on process improvements, project efficiencies and program management, providing solutions based on exploratory investigation. Drive knowledge transfers to ensure system functionality and business domain knowledge is maintained. Contribute as owner of governance models. Able to solution and recommend new technologies or tools for automating (UFT, Selenium, Hammer, CA Lisa, BPT, Jenkins, Appium). Work with QA Leads, EQLs and Application Developers to quickly capture the major business functions, workflows and technology underpinnings to be able to design system functionality that exercise all critical inter-system integration points. This includes working with ACOE to define components based on application workflow. Perform all non-management QA and testing tasks, throughout the SDLC (i.e., from pre-project initiation through post-project review and monitoring). Perform comprehensive testing to prevent introduction of application defects into regression, end-to-end, client, and production environments. Coordinate Advisor forums with other members to build and maintain key functional processes. Report, monitor, and verify application project defects as necessary. Be accountable for projects of high complexity, high risk, and high visibility; handle multiple projects of varied complexity simultaneously; provide feedback
on and suggestions for improving QA Procedures to Project Leads and Technical Leads. Work with Development, DB Administrators and QA teams (Functional/ACOE) to provide quick resolution, working with CICS, DB2, SPUFI, TOAD, IBM AS/400, CA Lisa, Selenium, UFT, ALM, BPT, Jenkins, SOAP UI and SQL. Additional timings will be helping support mainframe application to perform back-end execution. This position will require 5% domestic travel for project related work activities.

Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related technical field and 2 years of experience in IT quality assurance, best practices, and SDLC, including 2 years of experience with testing using Quality Center/ALM or similar tracking tool, DB2, backend Mainframe validation, TOAD, SQL, and SOAP is required. Caremark will accept a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience. This position will require 5% domestic travel for project related work activities. Must apply by 03/17/18.
