Position Summary

As a Pharmacist Intern for our Long Term Care Pharmacy in Kansas City, MO you will work in an exciting, dynamic and fast paced environment, ensuring the continuation of pharmacy management's goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy.

Primary Responsibilities
As an intern pharmacist you will:
  • Provide routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers.
  • Management skills and accuracy are required to ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer efficiently and safely.
  • Serve as an integral member of the pharmacy team.
  • Lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as a good sense of urgency.

Required Qualifications
You will need
  • MO - Pharmacy Intern license in good standing
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • To be actively enrolled in a college of pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications
You have
  • Working pharmacy knowledge
  • LTC experience preferred

  • Actively enrolled in college of pharmacy
  • HS Diploma OR GED
