Job Description
The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer role will be responsible for developing and supporting reporting and analytical solutions using various database and BI tools for the Project Management Office (PMO). These solutions will provide leadership and decision makers with the information to track performance against IT wide goals, provide operational reporting and deliver analytical solutions.

Key responsibilities:
- Understand IT-wide goals, PMO processes and operational SLAs and identify opportunities to measure and report
- Formulate and document technical specifications
- Develop and test PMO solutions using Tableau, SQL Server, Excel, SSIS, and SharePoint
- Support and enhance existing PMO solutions
- Train end users
- Create custom dashboards
- Self manage efforts in support of developing new tools
- Identify continuous improvement efforts driven by lessons learned to improve automation
- Monitor PMO solution environments and resolve issues per established procedures
- Preform quality assurance and validation tasks on reports and automated solutions
- Provide support to end users through established support models
- Produce new and update existing documentation (process flows, standard operation procedures) using Word, OneNote, SharePoint, and Visio
- Contribute to determining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and reporting actuals
- Contribute to assessing and evaluating PMO processes and making recommendations on how to improve and automate


Required Qualifications
- 5 years minimum experience of strong technical skills in
one or more technologies such as Tableau, SSIS, or SQL Server



Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in 2014/2012 SQL Server
- Proficient in SSIS development (Visual Studio 2013+)
- Proficient in Tableau and Tableau Server version 10.3 or greater
- Experience with SharePoint 2013 or SharePoint 2016.
- Strong exposure to formal software development and project management processes/methodologies
- Technical writing skills
- Ability and desire to learn and apply new technologies
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Ability to prioritize tasks/objectives with strong organizational, time management, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to self-manage solution development
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Illustrates strong initiative and ownership


Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
fields is required
