Job DescriptionAs Telecom Senior Analyst you are responsible for the implementation and maintenance of telephone hardware and software in a very complex and high paced, multi-tasking environment. This position is responsible for the implementation of telephony applications and hardware pertaining to the Avaya PBXs, adjuncts, and including Avaya AES and Avaya CMS. Knowledge of Cisco CUCM is also a plus. The duties include add, moves and changes for telephone systems providing support to all CVS Enterprise locations. This position is responsible for hands on implementation at remote facilities, including vendor management to ensure specifications are maintained and the architectural design is adhered to. This position installs media gateways and servers, IP sets, and sets IP scopes. This position is responsible for working with the network infrastructure on QOS issues. This position will be on a 24 x 7 rotation, providing tier support and mentoring the Senior Analysts and Analysts on support issues and project guidance. This position designs system layouts and configurations and plans new product implementations to meet business needs. This position will be responsible for high level pricing and designs for the new customers that we have brought in. You must have a good knowledge of carrier services and interfaces. We look for someone who has strong interpersonal skills (oral and written), organizational skills documentation and organization skills, be able to think outside the box and be a self starter. Also should be good at problem solving, troubleshooting, mentoring and motivating others, and be a real team player. Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience working with Avaya System Installation and Management, Avaya AES installation and management, Avaya IP Telephone, and vector knowledge, and IP design and maintenance. Technical proficiency in Avaya PBX, Centre Vu Call Management Systems, AES, call recording and Proficiency with MS office applications, Windows operating systems, Linux operating systems, and a multi-site environment.Preferred QualificationsTechnical proficiency in Avaya PBX, Centre Vu Call Management Systems, AES, call recording and Proficiency with MS office applications, Windows operating systems, Linux operating systems, and a multi-site environment.Education Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
