Job Description The Application Development SeniorAdvisor is responsible and accountable for the quality and cohesion of solution architecture components within PBM and RxClaim Eligibility application, and their conformance to approved CVS Health IT standards and alignment with the future state Eligibility system.
You will ensure alignment of IT solutions with the business goals and objectives of the supported unit. You will serve as a senior application architect providing industry leading technical direction and guidance to the RxClaim application development teams to ensure appropriate and cost effective application of CVS Health approved technologies. You will provide solutions and design complex functionality within the RxClaim application (Eligibility area) and define technical solutions and documents within the RxClaim application. You will lead assigned team programs and mentor junior resources as needed. You will help define standards guidelines, and aligning solutions to the RxClaim application architecture.
As the Sr. Advisor Application Development you will work with senior business leaders on key projects and initiatives related to processes for the Eligibility applications. You will facilitate the discussions related to process changes, impacts and potentially new functionality.

Preferred Qualifications RxClaim / Adjudication technical experience. Healthcare experience.
- 7years of technical AS400 experience in a development role in a professional services environment exhibiting proven client management, relationship development, analytical and problem solving skills, and end-to-end experience with software development methodologies.
- 3+ years as a 'Project Owner' driving the technical solution for projects and providing updates to senior leaders.
- 3+ years SDLC methodologies and supporting toolsets and familiarity and exposure to development environments is required.
- 3+ years demonstrated experience successfully managing customer requirements and/or demands.
- 7+ years technical experience with AS400, Synon, RPGILE, SQL Query, MS Office
- A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or closely related technical field and 5 years of experience in application development and SDLC.
- Will accept a Bachelor’s Degree or High School diploma plus 2 years of experience for every year degree not attained plus required years of experience.
