Job Description:

The Manager of Network Cable Infrastructure position supports the CVS Health Enterprise, specifically supporting the Network Cabling Infrastructure team and vendors necessary to deliver low-voltage, fiber, wiring closet infrastructure and the associated designs. In this position you will assist and support the Network Infrastructure Engineers delivering projects requiring structured cabling infrastructure. These projects include IT-sponsored project, Facilities-sponsored projects, or projects sponsored the business.


  • You will obtain vendor quotes and statements of work (SOW) to support design and cabling installation
  • You will process quotes for purchase orders (EITS-sponsored projects only), or working with project teams to ensure they have processed orders timely and properly
  • You will schedule vendor resources for EITS projects teams to support their projects, coordinate meetings and following up on project deadlines
  • You will build strong partnerships across various teams, including our Plan, Build, Run organizations and various other departments within CVS Enterprise such as CVS Facilities and Loss Prevention teams
  • You will have strong communications skills and be able to handle multiple projects concurrently with solid attention to detail and be highly organized
  • You will represent the team at corporate facilities meetings and project status meetings, gather project requirements and coordinate with the Network Infrastructure engineers to deliver uncompromised services
  • You will use clarity to drive resource allocations, time planning and time sheet review/approval
  • You will be responsible for personnel management duties including goal setting, mid-year/annual reviews and regular 1:1 status meetings and feedback with the team and individuals
  • Working with Finance teams, you will resolve invoicing and payment issues as required

Required Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office, Word & Excel, Ariba, Clarity, SharePoint & PeopleSoft
  • Basic knowledge of voice/data hardware, related terms and services preferred

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and deftly, both verbally and in writing
  • Solid experience with project management/ability to prioritize work timelines requirements; ability to adjust work based on changing priorities
  • Ability to work as a liaison with Plan/Build/Run teams, and manage other employees, vendors and contractors at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrable experience working independently with minimal supervision and be self-directed
  • Demonstrable experience functioning well in a fast paced team environment, with the ability to negotiate as needed when raveling priorities exist
  • Familiarity with Network Cable plant design is a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Associate's Degree (will be considered)
  • 7 years of experience (will be considered)
