The Clinical Interoperability Analyst is responsible for the overall execution of clinical integration with strategic affiliations, business partners, and CVS Health integration opportunities. The Clinical Interoperability Analyst will manage project deliverables, define project scope, identify scalable solutions, execute configuration, perform testing, and provide support to ensure successful implementations for health system connectivity. This role works collaboratively with both technical and business oriented project team members to support Health Information Management solutions for CVS Health nationwide.

Specific Knowledge and Expertise:

· Experience managing internal and external client relationships
· Ability to work with business users and technical resources to understand project requests and translate requirements to the final project deliverables
· Ability to communicate requirements and coordinate efforts to deliver the final project solution
· Ability to identify, assess, communicate and resolve complex problems and facilitate issue resolution and risk mitigation
· Ability to execute all phases of the project life cycle
· Ability to create and deliver project artifacts (such as project timelines, status reports, requirements documentation, and test plans)
· Ability to learn software applications and use them effectively to perform job-related tasks
· Understanding of software development methodologies such as SCRUM, Waterfall, or SDLC preferred
· Knowledge of Clinical Interoperability
· Knowledge of clinical interfaces using healthcare standards (CCD, CCDA, HISP, Direct Messaging, and HIE platforms)
· Knowledge of regulations and standards related to the management of patient health information (PHI and HIPAA)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Meticulous attention to detail and ability to effectively organize information

Duties and Responsibilities:
· The Clinical Interoperability Analyst will support our existing Clinical Affiliate relationships and will assist with integration efforts for new Affiliates, business partners, and CVS Health enterprise initiatives
· Maintain a detailed understanding and working knowledge of current clinical systems, integrations, and back-end processes
· Collaborate with external clients, internal project teams, and IT to provide deliverables and support that meets business objectives
· Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to leverage internal knowledge and innovation
· Responsible for executing all phases of the project life cycle including analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and support
· Deliver high quality project work that satisfies the project’s business case and meets end users expectations
· Assist project team, analysts, and specialists for high quality deliverable completion
· Responsible for obtaining Epic Care Everywhere certification and utilizing that knowledge to support interoperability
· Responsible for managing and maintaining provider directories in support of Clinical Interoperability
· Perform analysis of data and existing workflows, and document findings to support integration projects
· Triage, manage, communicate and resolve issues
· Requires little to no supervision and assignments must be performed with minimal assistance

Required Qualifications
· 2 or more years experience of business analysis and support

Preferred Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years of working in a healthcare organization or related experience preferred
· Epic software implementation experience preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint)
· Analytical skills in Excel preferred

· Bachelor’s Degree required or, in lieu of a Degree, equivalent work experience.
