Job DescriptionAs a Network Engineer – Cisco, you will lead a team of engineers in the designing and engineering of complex network solutions across the CVS Health enterprise. You will develop strong working relationship across the plan, build and run teams to ensure that project work in the Architect and Engineering department is configured and installed appropriately across the organization.
You will review project requirements and specialize in network design, documentation, and transition. You will evaluate system architecture requirements and adjust system requirements accordingly. You will assist in planning for Disaster Recovery (DR) efforts and participate in DR testing.
As a Cisco Network Engineer, you'll liaison with business partners and vendors to ensure projects and initiatives remain on schedule. We're looking for a dynamic leader with integrity, ability to multi-task, and work within a fast-paced environment.
This position will be located in Cumberland, RI and will allow for remote work 2 days per week.
- 8+ years’ experience working with Cisco Networking Technologies, Cisco Networking Devices, Cisco Telephony Technology, and related components, including the following: Switches, Routers, SND, ASA, VPN
- 8+ years’ experience of IT Networking.
- 4+ years experience with F5 Load Balancer, WAN Accelerator, and Video Conferencing.
- 4+ years designing complex network, integrating networks, and telephony systems.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, weekends, and late hours, per business needs.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time .
EducationBachelor’s Degree, OR will consider High School Diploma/GED and experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree. Business Overview
- 3+ years ACI/APIC knowledge.
- Networking design and engineering experience.
- Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Visio, experience.
- Working knowledge of carrier services and interfaces.
