Drive execution of stockroom organization, proper
DSD receiving with a focus on preventing external & internal shrink. Drive inventory results to ensure that we
meet or exceed our inventory goals. Provide supervision and guidance to the
team & vendor partners to ensure that they maintain the backroom organized,
clean and clear of clutter.





Another critical part of the Stockroom
Supervisor’s responsibilities is to make sure that all Loss Prevention
guidelines, procedures and routines are followed to the letter. Ensure that DSD
vendors abide by the Store Receiving Schedule in order to avoid shrink
opportunities brought about by excessive vendor pile ups. Regularly walk &
inspect backroom for signs of pilferage or grazing activities.





This position includes the supervisory practice of
overseeing the inter store transfers are generated by other departments such as
Fragrance, Cell phones, etc. They are to provide training and expertise for any
of these other departments that perform transfer activities which by their
practices may impact the total shrink numbers.





During company inventories the Stockroom
Supervisor will ensure the accuracy of any counts done of the Stockroom. The Stockroom Supervisor ensures that all the
merchandise is counted & labeled 100% and that the backroom is organized
and ready for inventory day. They will
follow-up by both targeted and random recounts of previously counted printouts.

for controlling DSD vendor access and activities

to follow-up to ensure that the store personnel perform activities that impact
the store’s inventory, such as transfers, damages, counts, etc.

>Maintain a
strictly professional relationship with DSD vendor partners

>Responsible
to assign and train an associate that can perform his job while the Stockroom
Supervisor is not present for any reason

for preparing the back room for inventories, this includes verifying the
accuracy of all the back room merchandise

>Directing
the work of associates to ensure smooth work flow on a daily/nightly basis

>Oversee the
stocking team’s productivity, including feedback to the Store Manager

guidance to each associate to address performance issues and improve associate
performance
