Job DescriptionContent Proofreader Coordinator will create content including copy, images, etc. used in advertising promotional vehicles using specialized software. Relies on instruction and guidelines to perform the functions of this job.
As a Content Proofreader, you will review and copy edits of all ad block criteria at sku level and prepares weekly / seasonal events to be viewed online (myWeeklyAd) and in-store (signing). Has knowledge of standard copy criteria, concepts, practices, and procedures within the Advertising department. Also, responsible for the accurate use of grammar, spelling, legalities and other content specifications. Highly accountable for any error that may result in a customer service issue.
This position also requires copywriting and detail proofing all circular ad block content (copy/images/offers/etc.) used in advertising promotional vehicles. Candidate must update content as changes to the ad blocks occur to ensure consistency and accuracy of all ad blocks currently in production. Reviews promotional material and corrects inconsistencies in spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, style, legalities and other content specifications.
This role requires some production design experience in advertising graphic arts and all production processes, producing error-free artwork and preparing accurate pre-press files, resulting in the timely, high-quality (design and pre-press) and cost effective output of CVS/pharmacy print department advertising deliverable.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Some specialized problem-solving responsibilities required. Candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with extremely tight deadlines.
1. Create, edit and proof content including copy, images, etc. using specialized software. Required to support some phase of design, including image layouts.
Implement and maintain editorial policies and standards. Works across department lines to resolve issues and create solutions while troubleshooting discrepancies.
Coordinates the preparation of an event, by verifying data and proper content.
Required Qualifications1 year of related work experience with preference in a Advertising Production environment. Preferred QualificationsBilingual strongly preferred1. Production, layout and copywriting skills with the ability to follow guidelines and flex between promotional vehicles2. Ability to document, analyze and resolve issues accurately and promptly in a professional manner3. Proficient in current versions of Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge and Acrobat as well as Microsoft Office Suite4. Highly organized with attention to detail5. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines6. Proactively identifies issues and collaborates with business partners to facilitate resolutions7. Proven team player
