Job DescriptionAs a Healthcare Outreach Advocate - Hemophilia , you will report to the Regional Sales Manager and have responsibility for sales, service and marketing support to the Bleeding Disorders Community within an assigned area of the region. Building relationships and network within the Hemophilia community will be necessary to achieve territory objectives and financial goals. The Healthcare Outreach Advocate - Hemophilia is essential to ensuring that CVS Specialty Pharmacy provides patients with competitive and supportive services that will drive compliance, adherence and retention of Hemophilia patients. As a member of the Hemophilia Sales team the Healthcare Outreach Advocate have responsibility for maintaining and building relationships with state Hemophilia chapters, support groups, resource organizations, customers, and area treatment centers. This position is responsible for maintaining contact and relationships with current customer base within the Region in addition to identifying and initiating new customers on service. As part of the CVS Specialty Hemophilia Sales Team you will develop strategies to retain current business, provide customer assistance, and increase new referral business through development of relationships with customers. This position requires the ability to effectively utilize data, reports and resources to determine the remote field activity most necessary to achieve business goals. This position requires 75% travel and must be able to work nights and weekends.Required Qualifications‒ 2+ years of experience in hemophilia or any other Pharm/biotech specialty‒ 2+ years of experience in a business/healthcare environmentPreferred Qualifications‒ Preferred candidate must reside within the territory.
‒ Ability to read and understand medical information related to the specialized area.
‒ Interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are important for this position, understanding the managed care arena to provide guidance and resolve problems.EducationVerifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred
