We have a great opportunity to launch a career in a pharmacy operation setting as an Administrative Assistant in Forms Procurement. You will support the Branch Name branch by assisting with the authorization, insurance verification and medical claims process. Must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key stakeholders and patients.
Use your newly acquired healthcare training or current administration knowledge and customer services skills to make a difference in a patient’s life by confirming documentation is complete to ensure smooth delivery of services. You will gain exposure supporting a multitude of aspects in the healthcare field, such as nursing, pharmacy, warehouse, clinical support, and sales.
Coram CVS/specialty infusion services is a national leader in the home infusion and enteral fields. You have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your skills and experiences to work supporting a specialty pharmacy.
*Coordinate with the Insurance Verification Team to ensure all patient information has been collected and documented on the appropriate forms.
* Create, generate and distribute statements of medical necessity for patients and obtains signatures from physicians for claims submissions.
* Track missing patient forms and documents missing forms via computer and manual logs.
*Confirm patient medical claims have been set up and paid correctly in computer system.

* Minimum one year working with healthcare insurance.
* Proficient to advanced PC skills including MS Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.
* Strong ability to multi-task and organize workload for efficient use of time.
*Working in a customer service setting.
*Experience with medical billing or collections.
*Experience working with Medicare paperwork and forms.
