Job DescriptionThe Advisor of Retail Staffing Technology resides within the Workforce Management group and is a vital contributor to the operations of the Retail business. The Advisor is responsible for the Workforce Management system and processes that support our retail stores in scheduling their workforce to meet operational and customer service needs. This person will lead our efforts around driving adoption of the scheduling tool, implementing further refinements and customization's, supporting users in leveraging the system to its fullest potential, and measurement of business impact. This role will involve analytical, technical, and project management skills, and will provide the opportunity to develop or build upon a broad operations skill set. As part of this role, the Advisor will partner cross-functionally with the labor budgeting and planning, labor engineering, training, and operations teams. The Advisor will oversee two direct reports – a technical lead, and support lead.
Select Job Responsibilities:
-Leadership of Day-to-Day System Operations: Monitor and report on system KMI’s (i.e., schedule quality, schedule edits, session time, etc.) to assess utilization and adoption
-Oversee and provide guidance to team members responsible for: Performing key day-to-day system-related tasks, such as new location setup, user access maintenance, etc. Supporting Field inquiries and issue reporting
-Create Retail Scheduling Roadmap and Execute Implementation: Identify and prioritize system bugs, potential enhancements, and other scheduling-related initiatives and create a Roadmap for implementation. Work with external system vendor to understand LOE and determine the timeline for bug fixes / enhancements. Provide leadership and oversight as team defines requirements for system releases, performs user acceptance testing on bug fixes / enhancements, and updates all documentation to reflect system enhancements, including user-facing training and other resources. Oversee release process and ensure team and cross-functional partners are tracking towards committed timelines.
Required Qualifications-2+ years of experience in Analytics or Business related role(s)
Preferred Qualifications -Bachelor's Degree preferred
-Past Retail experience preferred
-Experience in Healthcare and/or Operations
-Experience with the software development Lifecycle or working closely with an IT function
-Experience working closely with an external vendor
-Experience with MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
