Job Description
As a Compensation Senior Manager, you will consult with Human Resources partners and business leaders in one or more business units to plan, develop and implement updated and new programs, policies, and guidelines to support the company’s compensation strategy and practices.

You are responsible for ensuring that compensation programs are delivered in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements. You will partner frequently with HR Business Partners, business leaders and finance to ensure aligned plans with realistic goals, effective and timely communication and administration.

This position will be able to work from home one day per week.

Your key job duties will be:
• Leading and monitoring the effectiveness of existing compensation programs, policies, guidelines, practices and recommend updates that are cost effective/consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
• Developing compensation analytic, modeling and data presentation to support program design and budgeting for compensation programs and recommendations.
• Delivering compensation advice on job evaluations and pay recommendations as appropriate.
• Handling compensation market analysis and reporting process and ensures the delivery of appropriate competitive pay survey data to meet business objectives; and communicates the evaluation methodology.
• Building relationships with clients and key partners to lead total direct compensation.
• Advising, influencing, and educating business partners and leaders regarding compensation strategy, programs, recommendations and issues.
• Working collaboratively with internal partners on the development and implementation of compensation communications.
• Leading the year-end compensation planning process for merit, bonus, and equity. Designs cost models and analytic to aid senior management in decision-making, coordinates implementation and provides mentorship to all internal partners.
• Partnering across functions to lead business unit and/or enterprise wide compensation projects of moderate complexity as applicable.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of compensation experience OR 2+ years compensation experience AND 3+ years finance experience.

Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced technical and quantitative skills, including experience using and manipulating large amounts of data in MS Excel.
• Strong business insight and financial analysis skills
• Ability to take on complex problems and applies sophisticated thought to identify creative solutions
• Leads independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
• Lead complex project teams (i.e. acquisitions or new program implementation)
• Effectively communicates difficult concepts and influences others to embrace to an enterprise point of view as opposed to how a program impacts them personally

Bachelor’s degree.
