Job DescriptionCVS Health has an exciting opportunity in our new Midwest Distribution
Center in Kansas City, MO located in the Northland area near the KC airport!
Responsible for a variety of general warehouse and housekeeping duties.
Will be trained for 1 primary functional area (Full Case Order Selector) with the
requirement to be cross trained in multiple functions. 1st shift
(Monday-Friday) 6am-2pm. Will perform work until completion.
The Full Case Order selector will use various methods for picking merchandise - Pick to Light, Pick to Cart, Pick to Sled and Pick to Pallet.
Responsible for the timely and accurate picking of retail store orders using batch pick
labels, store invoices, and verbal instructions while selecting conveyable and
non-conveyable case and/or piece quantities from designated warehouse
>· Select conveyable and non-conveyable case and/or piece quantities from designated
warehouse locations, using batch pick labels.
>Affix label to case and place on conveyor.
>Place label on Mark Out Sheet for picking.
>Dispose of cardboard and paper into cardboard conveyor.
>· Place damaged full case and/or piece quantities (crushed, broken, soiled, leaking,
cut) on designated areas for Returns disposition.
>Sign on to assignments and out for designated times throughout the day as well as
well as out for the day.
>Sort and separate invoices and batch labels.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to read, write, and count accurately
Regular and reliable attendance
Normal eyesight (regular or corrected)
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Ability to communicate clearly
Constant walking/standing, bending/reaching/stooping, climbing.
Ability to frequently lift 20 to 45 pounds, and occasionally 45 to 75 pounds.
Ability to work overtime on weekdays and weekends is a requirement when volume is heavy in order to service our stores.Ability to work in a seasonally warm or cool environment.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
