Job Description We are seeking a dynamic IT Operations Executive Advisor for our IT Formulary and Benefits team with both strong Operational and Benefit Plan Knowledge and deep understanding of PBM and Automation Business with its underlying technology, executive presence with clients and ability to constantly think strategically with the capability to overcome any hurdles encountered in a very timely manner. You should have a deep understanding of the bigger picture before getting caught up in all the details You will work with people at all levels finding opportunities to streamline work processes, and effectively support work efforts that span multiple application areas within PBM and Healthcare Industry.
You will lead IT operations for the IT Formulary and Benefits team analyzing defect density measurements across the applications, educating others on good software/coding techniques, and implementing best practices around software development. You will participate in design and peer reviews. You will meet with senior leaders regularly to discuss vulnerabilities and resolutions.
We believe you should possess integrity, adaptability,and validated leadership skills around prioritizing work, educating a team,working very, very closely in partnership with the Business and other senior level IT peers. Additionally, you should have superb attention to detail, even while handling multiple priorities; and the ability to express concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, to audiences at various levels including senior leaders.
- Minimum of 12 years of IT or R&D administrative experience including the following:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Benefit Systems
- 5 years experience with numerous IT applications, tools and infrastructure, and success in past automation projects and detailed tracking
- 5 years knowledge and understanding of both SDLC and Agile Development methodologies
EducationMS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or closely related technical field. Will consider Bachelor's degreeBusiness Overview
- Maintain awareness of competitive moves in the Healthcare marketplace - both Technology and Business along with understanding implications to PBM Business
- Aim for changes in CVS Business strategies and those of competitors along with possessing some M&A experience
- Familiarity with CVS Tracking Systems and Key Metrics
- Ability to quickly assemble in depth, data driven presentations for upper management
- Very inquisitive able to quickly probe and ask the tough questions to enable best possible outcome in any situation
- Deeply analytical in nature
