In this exciting and highly visible new role, you will be
responsible for driving all phases of medium to large analytics projects. As
a senior consultant, you will be responsible for providing day to day coordination of all activities pertaining to analytic projects including
scope/requirements development, project direction, goal setting, planning,
resource allocation, assignments, problem resolution and collaborating with
stakeholders to ensure goals are met. Your work will support a wide range of
projects and requirements, including BI tool development, advanced
analytics/machine learning projects and data integration projects, all of which
will support the operational effectiveness and excellence of different business
units through data driven decision making.



You will be working with a team to scope analytics projects,
and build out project schedule and resource requirements and will be
responsible for successful delivery of assigned analytics/BI projects by
identifying and managing risk, communications, schedule and budget. In this
position, you will be focused on driving toward a successful outcome from the
project e.g. enhanced forecasting process, efficient BI tool etc., by engaging
stakeholders throughout the process and ensuring that requirements are met
on-time and on-budget.

Required Qualifications







To be considered for this very important role, you will need
to have the following experience:








• A minimum
of 3 years
of
experience as an Analytics Senior Consultant, working on data
or business intelligence projects in an industry relevant to CVS Caremark (e.g.
PBM, retail consumer packaged goods, retail pharmacy, retail clinics);








• Analytical
experience that includes methodology development, programming (SQL, SAS), data
summarization and visualization;








• Working
with data and have a strong understand of analytics and data and how they are
leveraged within the healthcare/retail industry;








• Experience
in managing cross functional initiatives; communicating effectively and
confidently with business partners, project team members and senior management;









Outstanding process and project management skills, including coordinating
activities across diverse departments and ensure that contributions across
different teams are lined and integrated as part of overall delivery








• Working
with analysts and IT teams to build project schedules.





Preferred Qualifications







• Ability to
organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines and work independently;








• Ability to
handle multiple projects and activities in a timely, organized manner;








• Creative problem
solver, flexible, proactive and ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment








• Understanding
of data management and reporting tools and applications;








• Consulting
experience and/or MBA would be a plus








• Excellent
written and oral communication skills, ability to interact with and influence
decision-making by non-analytical business audiences





Education






Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
