Job DescriptionThe primary responsibilities of the Consultant are to address, resolve and document all system and user issues escalated via the SPARCS Help Desk/Sharepoint Site. The consultant will ensure system bugs, enhancements and issues are tracked, escalated, tested, and implemented appropriately. The Consultant will work routine reports, researching issues and working across departments to resolve specific system and charge issues. The Consultant is responsible for participating in requirements documentation, executing testing and implementation of system enhancements. This individual will work with the Managers, Supervisors, IT Development and Reimbursement Staff to ensure accuracy of system performance.
Required Qualifications1 or more years of experience
performing healthcare reimbursement, medical billing or insurance collections experience
1 or more years of experience using Microsoft Office.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with user support, systems testing, process and procedures in a patient
accounting environment Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement practices preferred Knowledge of Reimbursement workflow, policies and procedures preferred · HBS / SPARCS experience desired
