Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as an iSeries/AS400 Application Development Lead, Advisor. You will be responsible and accountable for development and delivery of critical components in RxClaim application space along with their conformance to approved CVS Health IT standards. This position is essential to ensuring the consistent alignment of technical solutions with the business goals and objectives of the supported unit.

The Advisor will be accountable for serving as a technical guide by providing industry leading technical direction and mentorship to application development projects, ensuring appropriate and cost effective application of CVS Health approved technologies.

Do you love challenges? As an Application Development Advisor - Synon iSeries, you will:
-Provide solutions and craft complex functionality within the RxClaim Drug and Pharmacy Network application areas
-Lead assigned team projects.
-Mentor junior developers on the Application Development team.
-Provide domain expertise and review technical solutions and documentation within the application.
-Define departmental standards and guidelines while aligning solutions to the application architecture

Required Qualifications

-5+ years of demonstrated knowledge and
understanding of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), platforms/application
and/or software product/technologies with advanced knowledge of at least one or
more products.
At least 5 years of experience in a combination of the
IBM AS/400
Rpg ile

Preferred Qualifications

-IBMi SQL strongly preferred.
-Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle
various tasks.
-Experience in RPG/LE, COBOL and CL.
-Experience in PBM (Patient Benefit Management)
Insurance or Healthcare industry.
-Experience with Rx Claim or other PBM system.
- Ability to communication clearly to facilitate
meetings in both technical and business audiences, often across multiple

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
