Job Description
As a Document Specialist you will be part of our growing team at our new Phoenix facility. In this role it is essential to work with internal and external customers to finalize Promissory Notes, Settlement Agreements, and write-offs.

Additional responsibilities of the Document Specialist include:


  • Handle administrative and financial functions related to bankruptcies, including drafting/modifying/reviewing document language, perfecting any security interests, and completing related documentation to fulfill policy and audit requirements.
  • Work with various internal departments to facilitate any necessary adjustments to the AR resulting from settlement agreements.
  • Monitor the performance of Promissory Notes/Settlement Agreements, which includes collections efforts, and formal notice/documentation.
  • Manage outsourcing of accounts to third party collection vendors, and monitor performance of those vendor.
  • Provide monthly metrics to management.


Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working with legal documents and reviewing legal documents and legal contracts for accuracy and quality
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint




Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology
  • Experience in the healthcare industry; knowledge of long-term care is desirable
  • Above average skills to propose solutions
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment;ability to balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality


Education
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Finance or Accounting; or business related degree required.
