Job Description Omnicare, Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Health. Directly, and through our subsidiaries, Omnicare provides a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long term care facilities and to other customers in the health care environment. While senior care has long been an Omnicare specialty, we also serve other targeted populations
As a Patient Intake Associate, you will enter new patient admission information into the computer system. You will make outbound calls to obtain clinical, demographic or insurance information as needed.
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, plus every other weekend.
- You will enter patient admission information in a timely and accurate fashion
- You will review patient face sheets for completeness and enter patient demographics at time of admit/re-admit
- You will input billing information including but not limited to insurance, Medicare Part B, Medicaid and Medicaid Pending - You will manage re-admission data
- You will work through the electronic patient demographic information received through alternate programming daily
- You will process unknown payer reports if applicable
- You will assist with identification of non-compliant facilities
- You will maintain productivity and accuracy goals Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.

To be successful, you will possess excellent communication and organization skills, as well as the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible. Strong computer skills in data entry and Microsoft Office are also critical to your success.

Required Qualifications- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred Qualifications- Previous data entry or billing experience preferred
- Experience in pharmacy procedures and terminology preferred
Education- A verifiable High school diploma or equivalent is required.
