As a senior leader in the Digital Strategy and Innovation team, the Director will develop the long-term digital innovation strategy and business plan for enterprise digital, including the Retail, PBM, MinuteClinic, and Specialty business units. This is a unique opportunity will blend business and strategic rigor with an innovator’s creativity. In this role, you will be part of an important initiative to create the 3-5 year strategic vision in key growth areas of the business through the lens of digital innovation.
We are seeking an individual for this role who can take complex problems and formulate a compelling approach to work towards solutions, applies a think customer mentality, can balance quantitative and qualitative inputs to lead business critical recommendations. You should be an excellent communicator who is experienced working cross-functionally, presenting to senior level leadership at a Fortune 10 company and influencing different personalities and perspectives. In addition, this person will need to have a strong business instinct, track record for delivering results and the ability to help structure large amounts of information around complex and far-reaching digital strategic topics in healthcare and retail. This person should be a visionary, high-energy, intellectually curious individual who can thrive in a high demand, high performance environment.
-Guide the development of the long-term digital innovation strategy and business plan for Digital business units including the Retail, PBM, MinuteClinic, and Specialty
-Lead synthesis and communication of complex information from disparate sources into a clear compelling story, and develop recommendations that help guide decisions for top-level leadership across the organization
-Facilitate work with key stakeholders (Business Units, Finance, IT, Legal) to create and deliver meaningful Digital strategies and enables CVS Health’s competitive differentiation
-Own the design and facilitation of brainstorming and ideation workshops for enterprise initiatives using subject matter experts
-Lead your team's business case creation that supports high value opportunities
-Oversee the secondary research, including the summary, collation and synthesis of existing research
-Provide oversight on the design and conduct primary research of patients, customers, physicians and payers in support of key strategic initiatives
Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8+ years of experience in a strategic/business planning role, OR a MBA and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a strategic/business planning role.
Preferred Qualifications5 + years of experience in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
5 + years working experience within matrix environments and demonstrating the ability to work cross-functionally.
5 + years in building and maintaining effective partnerships and have a real passion for digital and ability to make decisions in an ambiguous situations.
5 + years of experience in team building and leadership involving direct, indirect, and non-reports.
5+ years of experience synthesizing goals and corporate visions into an actionable, strategic plan
