Job DescriptionThe Senior Analyst will be responsible for data conversions and the successful implementation of software at various pharmacy sites. The analyst will act as the conduit between the software development team and operational group(s), ensuring all are progressing properly. They will make sure the involved parties are well informed on any particular project under management and oversee the entire conversion process. Required QualificationsA minimum of 3 years of experience and strong knowledge of LTC is required. Must have knowledge of OmniDX and OASIS. Requires ability to perform system setup on many applications used by the LTC pharmacies. With input from operations must be able to analyze an LTC pharmacy and establish a plan for converting the site to OmniDX or OASIS and implement any modules required by the pharmacy. With input from corporate, regional and site management, establish target dates for the implementation of specific software modules and conversions. Work with the company’s product development groups and the aforementioned corporate groups to identify and reach the milestones necessary to complete the software conversions and to identify the people responsible for completing each of the milestones. Work with corporate, regional and/or site management to identify "key users" who will be responsible with ongoing operation of the software. When necessary, ensure that the site has proper staffing and equipment for the successful implementation of software products. Act as a preliminary support resource through the implementation of the software
this will often include on-site support and training. Maintain a thorough understanding of all software features/modules under management and understand how the software impacts site operations Preferred QualificationsAct as a liaison between the user community and the software development for ongoing software enhancements for software modules Provide on-site or in-house training on particular software features/modules currently under management Other SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES may be defined.
EducationA college degree with concentrations in computer science, business or pharmacy is desired. Ten or more years of experience in the implementation of new software/computer systems is desired. Strong project management experience is desired. Exceptional knowledge of long-term care pharmacy operations.
