Job DescriptionAs the iOS Software Engineer Advisor, Digital, you will focus on delivering innovative health care solutions for CVS.com and other digital channels. You will be responsible for developing, unit testing, and supporting software projects throughout all phases of the software development life cycle.
Your responsible for but not limited to:
• Work closely with the team, product management, and QA to design and develop software applications.
• Develop and perform unit testing of your software. Prototype solutions as needed
• Document work to allow for easy hand-off to other teams.
• Build scalable and fault-tolerant solutions
• Integrate with overlapping cross-functional teams.
• Develop solutions to real world problems and provide effort and cost estimates. Required Qualifications-Minimum of 5 years of iOS Objective C, Swift. and of Cocoa Pods framework.
-Minimum of 5 years of of web standards, progressive enhancement and cross-browser compatibility for Webviews.
-Experience building consumer facing apps with appropriate design patterns and of design and UX sensibilities.
-Experience with a server-side scripting language (Ruby, Python, PHP, JSP, etc).
-Experience with a version control systems - Git, Bitbucket or equivalent
-Experience working on large codebases.
-Performance debugging using instruments, benchmarking, and deep understanding on automated builds
Preferred Qualifications- Working Knowledge on Angular JS or React JS frameworks
- Willingness to learn and adhere to process
- Demonstrated knowledge of UI design patterns
- Ability to mentor junior resources and coach them
- Ability to work on numerous projects at a time EducationBachelors Degree required or High School Diploma/GED accompanied by adequate years' experience in lieu of degree. Business Overview
