The Planner for Front Store Initiatives role is accountable for developing and
manage the execution of the Inventory strategy to support key Front Store
Strategic Initiatives. This role is responsible for working with the
broader leadership teams supporting Front Store Strategic Initiatives and
ensuring that inventory and service levels for stores and categories impacted
by the initiatives are within specified targets by performing Demand and Supply
Planning activities.



• Responsibility for accurate forecasts across impacted products/categories so that the business may be appropriately planned based on that forecast



• Responsibility for managing inventory levels for impacted products/vendors/categories to support demand while meeting inventory turn and service level targets



• Working collaboratively with other parts of the business to ensure that key factors that influence demand and supply are understood and comprehended in demand and supply plans.



• Performance of core planning functions for a subset of impacted products/vendors/categories



• Designs and executes strategy to transition initiatives to base-business owners at end of transition periods.


Responsibilities:


Achieve initiative sales, margin, in-stock and inventory targets for key
initiatives



Performance of core planning functions for a subset of impacted
products/vendors/categories



Oversee the execution of replenishment strategies to impacted stores.



Partner with Merchandising, Store Operations, Logistics & the
Transportation organization to identify supply chain opportunities



Generation of reporting and analysis to support the team in analyzing and
improving the performance of the initiatives



Develop and maintain baseline forecasts and supply plans for
initiative-impacted stores and D.C. using JDA modules



Partner with analytics team to determine appropriate forecast models and
parameter settings


Required Qualifications
Advanced Excel skills and strong
statistical knowledge


Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience


Education
Bachelors Degree
