The overall goal of the program is to cultivate future CVS Health leaders through in-depth exposure to clinical practice, patient-centered care, innovation and organizational leadership. Partnered with University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, this 12-month intensive program is designed for the resident to learn the different facets of long term care pharmacy practice through experiences in patient care, dispensing, practice management, teaching, research and public health.
Specific residency objectives include:
The program calls for highly motivated candidates interested in mastering Long Term Care pharmacy practice as well as the competencies required to lead multidisciplinary teams and be well prepared to assume a leadership role in community pharmacy practice or in a corporate setting in the future.
