All Front Store Merchandising roles have shared deliverables of meeting our customer’s needs and delivering financial goals. Joining forces, together, is at the heart of everything we do!

Front Store Merchandising creates compelling shopping experiences in our stores through the management of the products carried in our retail stores. In order to maximize sales and profits, the department uses data and analytics to make informed decisions about the right products to carry. Category teams partner with suppliers in the development of programs.

Personalization, Loyalty and Promotion works in partnership across the organization to develop and implement strategies to build customer loyalty and increase sales using both mass marketed and targeted offerings. From the weekly sales circular and our CVS app to ExtraCare memberships; this team is designed to increase customer traffic, sales and brand awareness.

The Merchandising organization at CVS Health builds a commercial offering by curating the products sold in our stores, the method of promotion and presentation with the goal of exceeding our customers’ needs, while achieving CVS Health’s organizational goals related to profitability and growth.

In order to maximize sales and profits, the Analytics & Pricing Strategy team uses data and analytics to make informed decisions about the right products to carry, the correct pricing level for those products, with the goal of optimizing profitability.

Our Layout Design teams create a best-in-class customer experience through creative navigation, proper product adjacency and flow, innovative checkout experience at Pharmacy and Front Store and visually appealing overall design of store. Our Planogram team creates innovative planograms that allow the customer to easily find planned purchases and inspires them to make unplanned purchases through creative visual merchandising.
