Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for leading the development of products that are reinventing provider interactions with the specialty pharmacy. We are building products that encompass internal and external system integration's, pharmacy operations, clinical workflows, and digital messaging into cohesive solutions to meet physician workflow requirements.
The Digital Product Manager creates business outcomes by designing innovative digital health solutions aimed at CVS Specialty’s provider audience. The Product Manager will be responsible for delivering the product to market and supporting operational readiness and adoption strategies:
Partner with key stakeholders to align to the product vision, strategy, road-map and supporting metrics to deliver and enhance a best in class provider digital experience.
Become an expert in the lives of our providers including their clinical and pharmacy workflows.
Set direction and create business requirements, identify information needed to make business decisions and develop plans to meet business goals.
Drive the scoping and definition process for new digital product concepts including business case, product specifications and prototyping.
Work closely with digital, IT, pharmacy operations, legal, marketing, customer service, and UX colleagues to bring products to market.
Ensure appropriate acceptance criteria and testing of products prior to launch.
Builds measurement and control processes to iterate upon the product effectiveness and validate that the product is meeting customer needs.
Manage product backlog to meet stakeholder needs.
Work with adoption team members to establish a product marketing strategy.
Conduct product and competitive research and analysis.
Drive broad organizational engagement in strategy alignment through: Passionate, inspired leadership.
Energetic partnering and relationship development across CVS Specialty.
Regularly, impact communication of progress.
Percentage breakdown of duties and responsibilities:
Define the digital product development and deliver requirements for the evolution of a best in class Specialty Pharmacy, supportive of EHR/EMR systems, web, and messaging capabilities. 40% of your time.
Work closely with the key stakeholder teams that represent EHR/EMR workflows, operational workflows, analytic's, interfacing systems to establish cohesive strategies and execution plans. 2 0% of your time . Facilitate dialogue with broad group of cross-digital, cross-functional, and cross-enterprise teams with a demonstrated ability to lead using excellent communication skills and ability to influence decisions. 20% of your time. Collaborate with technical, testing and business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate product implementations so that we are achieving maximum value out of road-map initiatives. 20% of your time. Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2+ years of work experience in a healthcare or technology related field .
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience taking on end-to-end product ownership and successfully delivering results in a dynamic and complex environment.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering/development, design, and project management counterparts to deliver products/services.
- A minimum of 1+ years utilizing analytical and quantitative skills; leveraging data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
- Understanding of pharmacy and clinical health care provider operations.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.
- Experience with physician and/or pharmacy workflows in a hospital/clinic setting.
- Experience with EHR/EMR system integration's and interfaces
- Experience with HL7 transactions.
- Health care industry experience and specialty condition experience a plus (Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, HIV, Transplant, HCV, Oncology, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree (required), in science/engineering, business, economics or similar quantitative fields is preferred.
- Master's degree in business, finance, statistics or related field (preferred).
