Job Description As the Enterprise Health Plan Lead, you will serve as the senior level strategic liaison for a Book of Business of 10-12 Health Plan clients composed of Blue Cross, Medicaid, Regional and Provider Sponsored plans in the Western region of the U.S. In this role, you will be responsible for growing and maintaining these Enterprise relationships through the development and execution of a tailored strategy which leverages our value proposition to meet both the Health Plans’ and our Corporate goals and objectives. This individual will report to the Sr. Director of Enterprise Health Plan Sales and will have direct interaction with Executive Leadership both internally and externally. In addition, the role requires the ability to lead work across functional areas within our organization and health plans coordinating activity, driving innovation and meeting the market needs for your clients.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Translating the overall Enterprise Health Plan strategy into an action plan and executing on it for your Book of Business
- Being accountable for growth targets including dispensing growth, network retention, specialty, Coram, Omnicare, etc.
-Developing and maintaining Sr. Level relationships across various organizations
- Using your consultative selling skills to identify and influence new and up-sell opportunities within your client base and clearly communicating the client vision amongst the internal account team and business partners
- Executing and managing contracts to ensure the strategic partnership is effectively positioned to result in increased revenue for CVS Health
- Working cross functionally to develop and implement solutions – departments include CVS Pharmacy Product Development, Coram, Omnicare, Specialty, Minute Clinic, Payor Relations, and Enterprise Market Strategy among others
Your success as an Enterprise Health Plan Lead will be driven by your ability to grow revenue for the assigned book of business. Your understanding of the Healthcare landscape and managed care environment as well as keeping up-to-date on market trends will enable you to position CVS Health programs and solutions effectively to client decision makers. The contributions you will make as an Enterprise Health Plan Sales Lead will position CVS Health for long term growth in the competitive pharmacy and healthcare marketplace.
The candidate can be located in one of the CVS Corporate Hubs or remotely in the Western Region of the U.S. You must have ability to travel up to 40% of the time. Candidate travel will be in the western region of the country where the candidate location is ideal.
Required Qualifications*5+ years of cumulative experience managing a large client account in the PBM, health plan, or related healthcare field with a focus on account ownership and strategy.
* Must be able to travel up to 40%.
* Travel may require but is not limited to flights, overnight stays, local travel, travel on short notice and other travel deemed necessary by the Company.
* Must possess a valid and current driver’s license.
* Must possess personal vehicle sufficiently reliable to meet the requirements of the job and is appropriately insured.
Preferred Qualifications*8+ years of cumulative experience managing a large client account in the PBM, health plan, or related healthcare field with a focus on account ownership and strategy.
*Knowledge of Overall Healthcare Landscape
*Strong Understanding of Pharmacy Landscape – cost drivers, key issues and opportunities*Strong understanding of Health Plan Payors and specific lines of business – Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial, Exchanges
*Strong communication skills both written and verbal – individual needs to be comfortable presenting to Sr. Executives, Subject Matter Experts, Pharmacy, Medical Affairs etc.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.
* RxClaim experience
Education*Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree preferred.Business Overview
