Job Description Summary:
Communicate with customers and patients regarding theirconfidential health and drug information. Deliver prescriptions topatients safely and effectively in a timely manner. Advise customersregarding over the counter medication. Compound and dispense medications issuedby authorized medical practitioners. Provide exceptional service throughdevelopment of relationships with customers to effectively influence patient’sbehaviors regarding medication compliance. Address clinical effects of drugs,provide counseling and assist patients in managing medicalconditions. Maintain and manage daily and weekly reports to drivebusiness and healthcare needs of the patients. Comply with allsecurity/loss prevention procedures including securing of pharmacy department,safe, and pharmacy department access. Access, input and retrieve informationfrom computerized system. Maintain an in-stock inventory by ensuring allinventory management policies and procedures are followed. Partner acrossboundaries with all healthcare professionals to provide optimal patientcare. Establish effective working relationships with other areas ofstore, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. Mentorand train pharmacy students.
Required Qualifications Minimum Doctorate of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) or Foreign
Equivalent in Pharmacy & valid Michigan Pharmacist license or ability to
obtain license. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and
meet CVS Health's leadership competencies (Focuses on customers, Leads with
purpose, Works collaboratively, Develops talent, Drives business results,
Follows community responsibility standards and Promotes a path to better
health). Will accept a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy in lieu of a
PharmD. Must Apply By 06/22/2018.
