Asa Senior Consultant, Revenue Cycle you will be part of our growing team at ourbrand new Phoenix facility. Asa Consultant for the Infusion Accounts Receivable (A/R) department, you will beresponsible for development and delivery of billing and collections related topayer initiatives within the Revenue Cycle at CVS Health. You willoversee and ensure compliance with A/R policies, procedures and best practices,communicating directly with the payers to update and maintain all payer guidelinesand add to the internal billing grid.

Additional responsibilities of the Senior Consultant, Revenue Cycle include:
· Assess revenue cycle processesand how they align to the overall strategic goals of the department.
· Work with revenue cycle managementto identify payer problems.
· Evaluate and analyze systemreports to identify problems and trends in reimbursement.
· Direct, lead, and conduct payermeetings to discuss and resolve problems.
· Ensure that system informationis updated and accurate based on payer requirements.
· Work with sales personnel toobtain payer guidelines, pricing, risk information, documentation required andauthorization parameters.
· Secure commitments from payersfor account payment and resolution.
· Assist in payer transition toECS, ERA and EFT processes.
· Work with branches, billingcenters and regions to identify and evaluate processes which impact cashcollections and A/R reduction.
· Develop and implement actionplans for improvement.
· Ensure that practices areconsistent with payer requirements for timely reimbursement and compliance.
· Ensure that billing andcollection procedures are consistent throughout the Region.
· Communicate changes in contractguidelines and payer requirements as necessary.
· Evaluate and analyze systemreports to identify problems and trends in reimbursement.
· Prepare trended A/R informationfor payers. Direct communication within region and billing center with respectto payer discovery.
· Thoroughly document all payercontacts, discussions, and resolutions.
· Ensure that effectivecommunication regarding payer management occurs within the branches, billingcenters, and regions.
· Implement and ensure compliancewith accounts receivable policies, procedures and "best practices".
· Performs other related dutiesas directed by supervisor.

Required Qualifications
4+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience (billing or collections) working with a variety of payers.
3+ years of experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel PowerPoint and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Home Infusion, Specialty or DME revenue cycle (billing or collections)

Experience working with revenue cycle applications and healthcare finance and accounting principles.
Knowledge of federal, state and commercial payer reimbursement rules and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills essential to identifying opportunities to improve revenue cycle management.

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred.
