Responsible for coordinating multiple activities of the Corporate Transportation Safety.
This position will be working in Pittsburgh, PA.

GENERAL PURPOSE: Assure DOT Safety and provide accurate reporting.


·No supervisory responsibility however this associate will also need to be able to perform duties as an analyst, safety coordinator, and clerk.
·Plan, organize, schedule, forecast, and coordinate work in order to meet delivery schedules and operational goals. ·Handle all Transportation Safety Data Analysis
·Have the ability to learn all CVS Safety Software to include: Telogis/Safety Box/Certiphi/Pro-tread and other possible software systems.
·Set up & create customized reporting, create & monitor driver score cards, as well as working with corporate safety to monitor and implement our driver safety awards and driver evaluation programs.
·Monitor driver safety training and provide frequent updates to the DC’s.
·Handle all DOT New Hire documents & Drug & Alcohol Testing processes.
·Monitor and audit orientation and DOT training.
·Must have ability to flex schedule as necessary.
·May have the option of working from home.
·Perform other related duties as assigned by Director of Enterprise Safety & DOT Compliance & Sr. Managers of Safety.

·Maintain statistical database files.
·Creating of Certificates & Transportation News Letter.
·Housekeeping is required.

·Physical demands: This position has a lifting requirement of 40 lbs. Other physical activities include Bending/reaching/stooping/walking/standing/and climbing.
·Work environment: Office environment

Required Qualifications
· Previous office/computer experience preferred.
· Ability to read and write; perform basic mathematics.
· Proficient in computer software applications in a Windows environment, specifically advanced knowledge in spreadsheet and database knowledge (Excel/Access), word processing (Word), email (Outlook).
· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees (oral and written).
· Professional telephone skills: ability to greet and professionally represent the organization to other CVS facilities, CVS corporate offices and the various vendors who service the distribution center.
· Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently.
· Ability to complete assignments within established timelines.
· Ability to complete work under general supervision.
· DOT & Transportation Safety Knowledge a Plus.

Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
