Coram/CVS Health is looking for customer service oriented professionalsto join our team as a Pharmacy Clerk! In thisfast-paced and dynamic role, you will work alongside our Pharmacists bycommunicating with patients, Physicians and other healthcare professionalsregarding the coordination of home infusion orders. You will be responsible forordering and maintaining inventory, gathering and organizing patientinformation, and ensuring patient documentation is up to date in our electronicdatabase. At Coram, we believe that Pharmacy Clerks are a key part ofmaintaining constant communication between our branch team members and clients,therefore creating a positive experience for our patients.

As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will:

Maintain inventory of patient supplies, document supply needs, and place ordersfor drugs/medical products.

Assist with maintenance of patient files; Sort and file Physician Orders andall clinical documentation.

Answer and route telephone calls, arrange shipment dates, and assists with newreferral coordination as needed.

Provide administrative support to the specialty team – typing/faxing/trackingphysician’s orders, discharging patient from service, filing of paperwork inthe correct sections of the medication

Call patients to confirm delivery of coordinating with internal team members,documenting discussions in progress notes, rescheduling patients for subsequentdeliveries

Track patient pumps – swapping out when pump is due for PM, twice a year wallto wall inventory, retrieving pumps when patient discharges from service

Typical work hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM,with an opportunity for over-time based on business need. This is afull-time,permanent career that offers excellent Medical, Dental and Visioncoverage, a competitive 401k, and additional benefits.

Required Qualifications
Minimum one year customer service experience.
Minimum one year experience working in Microsoft
Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to
work with a sense of urgency and pay close attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a

Experience in home health and/or healthcare industry.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Certified Pharmacy

High School Diploma
