The Specialty Financial Analysis Senior Manager manages a team of analysts that supports various groups within the company with financial analyses related to various products and pricing strategies. The team is responsible for managing, reporting and forecasting financials for programs such as 340b, OED reconciliation and management, negative margin management as well as client contract compliance.

As the Specialty Financial Analysis Senior Manager , you will oversee processes to track, monitor and report various financial measures for different programs as needed. The role requires working with a variety of other areas to develop, maintain, and implement these process.

As the Specialty Financial Analysis Senior Manager you will be responsible for reviewing financial sections of Request for Proposal's (RFP'S) and Contracts to determine areas of improvement given findings from the team's financial analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for making recommendations to senior management in order to gain approval on changes to standard terms and processes. You will participate in the development of CVS Health’s pricing strategy, work with legal and proposals to revise contractual terms as needed to protect ourselves while continuing to retain existing business and to continue to win new accounts with emphasis on Specialty Pharmacy and Home Infusion.

In this role you will also be responsible to consult with other areas in the company and act as a subject matter expert in areas related to Specialty and Home Infusion, including working with Network team, New Product team and others.

A successful candidate in this role has: A pricing and/ or financial background. Review and analyze complex financials. Highly proficient in working with large data sets Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Experience in setting up process and executing against them. Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience using business analytics to problem solve data-driven questions Aptitude to communicate complex analytic findings and conclusions in an easy to understand way Ability to collaborate with and influence clients and customers to develop analytic models, methodologies and reports that support CVS Caremark products and services Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing Big Data (databases containing multiple terabytes of data) and then using it to draw relevant conclusions Ability to appropriately prioritize competing client requests to ensure focus on highest impact activities Ability to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner; leverage team resources to support assigned clients; and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and manage tight deadlines


Required Qualifications
7+ years pricing/financial analysis experience required.
2+ years of management experience required.



Preferred Qualifications
2+ years experience with PBM or Specialty Pharmacy/Home Infusion industry.
Knowledge of health insurance, managed care, or pharmaceutical industry.



Education
Bachelor's Degree required, degree in Finance or Business preferred,
MBA preferred.
