Job Description The Pharmacy Network Executive Advisor position has a direct impact on how our clients view the accomplishments
of migration activates and new client initiatives. The Executive Advisor has a direct correlation in the Clients confidence in CVS/Caremark’s ability to migrate and administer their benefit plan. In the role of the Executive Advisor, this individual will serve as a subject matter expert to define and implement daily-use business processes, including improving team
efficiency and accuracy. The process will permit the Anthem pharmacy network team to review client data, provide
secondary QA of intended set ups and claim pricing validation. The work associated with this position is mission critical. It is responsible for developing strategy and managing data that serves as the foundation for a highly integrated pharmacy operations system. The Executive Advisor must collaborate with key functional leaders to understand, prioritize, develop and implement requirements into sound business processes. This position must understand cross function dependencies that impact products and process within the organization that has an impact on the pharmacy network division as
a whole. This position will support the CVS/caremark Client - Anthem. Required Qualifications Minimum five years of experience required either working at a Heath Plan or a PBM.
Minimum two years experience in leading and managing a diverse group of direct and/or indirect associates while also providing them coaching and mentoring. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of enterprise relational databases.
Intermediate to advanced level MS Excel and MS Access is required.
An extensive understanding of the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business and pricing models.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, task driven, and have strong analytical and organizational skills.
Experience with formal presentations in large forums is desired.
Excellent written and oral communications skills, including Client facing experience.
Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
Comfortable working under pressure.
This position will provide technical business pharmacy network related support for the Anthem enabling CVS/caremark to provide best in class service Education Bachelor's degree required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
