Job DescriptionThe Information Senior Security Engineer will be a part of Information Security Engineering and Architecture group and will managing/maintaining and defining roadmaps for data security technologies in CVS Health . Your responsibilities may include ownership of data security/key management services, applications, systems, processes, or policies in whole or in partnership with other internal CVS Health groups. We're looking for a dynamic Info Security professional that has great writing and communications skills, integrity, takes initiative, and finds new ways to problem solving. You should also be highly motivated and possess the flexibility to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
A deep understanding of emerging data security technologies, evolving threats, and the competitive landscape for data security tools, infrastructure and handled services is important.
Your responsibilities will include:
- You will conduct research on data security technologies, drive proof of concepts, and engage in strategic decisions.
- You will support and mentor application owners to provide data security provisions into their applications/processes.
- You will work with other Security Engineers, and other CVS teams to identify and report risk observations, and to re-mediate them according to the requirements of CVS Health policy.
- You will aide other application teams and IS functions including in the following areas: provide ad-hoc security advice and support technical risk assessments.
You will assist Security Incident Response Teams in the investigation of incidents if needed.?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /
- 8+ years of overall IT security experience. ?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /
- 5+ years of experience with a proven background in data protection, encryption, key management and supporting of security solutions for similar domains.
Industry recognized certifications such as CISSP or SANS GIAC are a plus. Education
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
|BS degree in Information Security, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent discipline or High School Diploma/GED accompanied by adequate years of meaningful work experience required. |
