This Senior Consultant position will develop and maintain analytic products including reports and simulation models for CVS Caremark customers and account teams.
You will receive data from other teams within CVS and validate to ensure that the data is within normal specifications.
You'll also partner with other teams within CVS to create extracts from downstream data sources and push that data into tables to be used by other teams within Enterprise Analytics.
In this role, you'll be tasked with developing source code and queries to generate Medication Therapy Management report output, perform routine maintenance on existing offerings, and address special requests.
Additionally the position will be asked to conduct ad-hoc analysis for clients and internal partners.
This role will require working in a team environment facilitated by an analytic design process supported by several internal customers.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates should have at least one year of healthcare industry experience along with a minimum of 3 years SQL programming and MS Office applications experience, specifically Excel and Visual Basic.
You should also have demonstrated experience working successfully in a team environment and working as a team lead.
Proven expertise in SQL coding (Oracle, UDB or Teradata) as well as SQL server experience is also required.
Lastly, candidates must have demonstrated experience in writing functional specification documentation and leading cross functional initiatives across the enterprise
Knowledge in / experience with ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET is a plus but not required.
SAS programming experience a plus.
