Job Description
The Systems/Network Administrator position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the servers, desktops, and networking infrastructure at Wellpartner. This position works with the IT Manager and other System/Network Administrators to support/troubleshoot all essential business functions such as daily operations, maintenance of server/network equipment, and project implementation. They may also be asked to support the service desk.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working with VMware
  • 3+ years of experience working with windows servers


Preferred Qualifications
Concepts learned through this coursework/experience should include the following topics:
  • Windows Server/Desktop Administration (MCSA) focusing on currently supported Windows Systems (ex: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012)
  • Network Theory/Addressing/Troubleshooting (CCNA), OSI Model and how it applies to network devices with a focus on Cisco and Brocade equipment
  • Network Theory related to WAN technologies (ex: BGP concepts, VPN technologies)
  • VMware ESXi and VSphere support and deployments
  • SAN Technologies with a focus on EMC equipment deployment and support
  • Linux deployment, support, and troubleshooting skills with focus on Red Hat/CentOS systems
  • Technical Writing/Documentation
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Focused project/time management skills
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, PCI, or other security-focused regulatory laws


Education
Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field from a 2 or 4-year college or university OR 3 or more years’ experience in a Technical Support/Systems Administration role.
