Job Description CVS Health, a Fortune 7 company, is currently hiring for a Pharmacy Network Senior Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this challenging role, the Pharmacy Network Medicaid Senior Advisor position has a direct impact on how our clients view our compliance with Medicaid regulations and has a direct correlation with their confidence in CVS/Caremark’s ability to administer their plans from an individual State and Plan oversight perspective. In the role of the Senior Advisor, this individual will serve as a subject matter expert for Medicaid Plan guidance/regulation, as it relates to the pharmacy network and drive implementation to ensure CVS/Caremark is compliant.
The Senior Advisor will collaborate with key functional leaders to implement regulatory requirements into business processes. This position is responsible for understanding the State regulations for the Clients and/or States that the position supports. The position will focus on primarily Member and Pharmacy Network impacts, but could expand into other business areas as the Medicaid program evolves. The position will support the CVS/Caremark Client - Anthem. Required Qualifications Six years experience required either working in a regulatory type position or at a Heath Plan or a PBM.
3 years experience in leading and managing a diverse group of direct and / or indirect associates. Preferred Qualifications Experience with formal presentations in large forums.
Knowledge of State Model contracts and Health Plan contacts.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
Comfortable working under pressure.
Experience mentoring and coaching.
Dedicated pharmacy network support of Medicaid Clients/Health Plans of Anthem enabling CVS/Caremark to provide best in class service. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Business Overview
