Job Description
As the Client Benefits Director you will be accountable for Benefits requirements and configuration for a subset of clients within the commercial line of business for the Heath Plan Market Segment. You will focus on driving key projects that will improve our ability to deliver high quality benefit plans in a timely manner to the marketplace. This includes the strategy, managing timelines and key deliverables as well as the quality control process necessary to ensure benefits are set up accurately and reviewed with our clients. You will also be responsible for:

- Providing planning support for a range of operational and strategic initiatives including accountability for the operational excellence in the Client Benefits leadership meetings related to Benefits and requirement coding operations
- Partnering closely with the Executive Leadership Team in strategic decision making and operations as the organization seeks to build capacity, automation and innovation capabilities
- Leading and directing department vision, mission, values and goals Initiating, developing and implementing process improvement plans to enhance organizational efficiency and continuous improvement
- Coordinating activities with other partner lines such as IT, Sales, Account Management, HR, Eligibility, Clinical Operations, CoE, Finance, Legal

You will be responsible for the critical communication to both client and internal leadership and on the status and overall quality of benefit design and configuration. Proactive planning, effective communication, coordination and project management of select organizational initiatives, leadership team agenda development, action plan tracking and follow-up, and coordinating benefit automation projects in support of the business unit will be critical to your success. Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring organizational processes are optimally aligned and coordinated between and among groups and projects.


Required Qualifications
* At least 10 years of experience managing operations and/or service delivery
* 3 or more years of experience directly managing complex Benefits implementation for Clients
* Willingness and ability to travel 25%-40% is required


Preferred Qualifications
* Extensive RxClaim system knowledge
* Ability to work effectively across several functional business areas
* Excellent Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial/Exchange related benefits implementation and management experience
* Ability to define benefits coding strategies Experience developing, measuring, monitoring, and driving improvement in New Client Implementations Key Performance Indicators
* Solid understanding and experience with healthcare prior authorization, Formulary, Utilization Management, Drug Utilization Management, Accumulations & Copay setup, reimbursement and claims adjudication
* Ability to coach, manage, mentor, develop and guide employee performance


Education
* Bachelor’s degree is required; equivalent work experience may substitute
* Master’s Degree is preferred
