Job DescriptionEnsuring that defined quality assurance processes are implemented in all aspects of project oversight. Lead the delivery of QA training and areas of expertise. Represent quality assurance in discussions with all aspects of the project life cycle related to root cause analysis, the mitigation of project risks, defect triaging, and planning. Review reports and software test results and provide feedback Solve complex problems for projects or teams. As a recognized expert, participate in knowledge transfers to ensure that system and business domain knowledge is maintained as QA members and contractors move between projects orother initiatives. Assist in the adoption of new technology in the department.Ensure that defined QA SEP Processes are implemented in all aspects of project oversight (plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate). Keep abreast of technology trends in the QA and PBM industry and determine if useful and/or feasible (i.e., impact) and make recommendations to the organization. Provide feedback on and suggestions for improving QA Processes to QA management. Report to the Manager of Quality Assurance on quality assurance processes, project and program management status, and individual contributor performance, including full-time employees and contractors. Support Production and Warranty issues On Demand and participate in release support for both major and minor releases. Assist QA management in data gathering for QA metrics and improvements. Continually enhance understanding of PBM knowledge.
Required QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or a closely related technical field or the foreign equivalent and 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, including 2 years of experience with PBM, software testing, mainframes, and web-enabled applications is required. Caremark, LLC will accept a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree and 2 years of experience. Must apply by 04/26/18.
