Join CVS Health Pharmacy in this exciting and dynamic opportunity as a Pharmacy Technician, where you will deliver top notch customer service to customers. Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, you will perform data entry, packaging, labeling, and other light pharmacy duties. You will interact with the other personnel in the pharmacy in an effort to provide pharmacy services to all customers.

Job Schedule : 40 hours a week, shift will be Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with Saturday rotations required

Key Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Prepare prescription orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedures
  • Re-order medication and stocks them when received. Checks packing list for accuracy
  • Prepare courier deliveries or UPS orders
  • Assist with customer service, including the cash register and telephones
  • Keep pharmacy clean and organized
  • Assist with billing, cash management
  • Process expired prescriptions
  • Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Job duties may vary by location

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Registered as a pharmacy technician in the state of MD

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
