CVS Health has an exciting opportunity in our new Midwest Distribution Center in Kansas City, MO located in the Northland area near the KC airport!Required Qualifications
Responsible for a variety of general warehouse and housekeeping duties. Will be trained for 1 primary functional area (Inventory Control) with the requirement to be cross trained in multiple functions. 1st shift(Monday-Friday) 6am-2pm. Will perform work until completion.
Responsible for conductingphysical inventories, researching locator problems and adjusting the bookinventory with the approval of the Inventory ControlSupervisor. Also responsible for assigned production locations;thereby enhancing the Warehouse Service Level. Responsible forassigning home, backup and pick locations for any item that is to be part ofthe regular item assortment (planograph). Monitor production activityfor these items on a regular basis, making any adjustments necessary to theplanograph for facilitate peak efficiency in picking and chasing.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to read, write, and count accurately
Regular and reliable attendance
Normal eyesight (regular or corrected)
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Ability to communicate clearly
Constant walking/standing, bending/reaching/stooping, climbing.
Ability to frequently lift 20 to 45 pounds, and occasionally 45 to 75 pounds.
Ability to work overtime on weekdays and weekends is a requirement when volume is
heavy in order to service our stores.
Ability to work in a seasonally warm or cool environment.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
High school diploma or GED.
