Job Description
The Senior Advisor, Analytic Investment Strategy will lead the strategy, business cases development and roll-out of investments in CVS Health’s Data and analytic infrastructure. Support a wide range of projects and requirements, including data investments, analytic tools, data integration activities, all of which will support the operational effectiveness and excellence of different business units. Responsible for delivering business cases, analytic product roadmaps and roll-out plans for assigned projects using inputs from stakeholders at multiple levels within CVS Health. Model the value of analytic investments, including estimating impact of new capabilities on key business metrics such as revenue, EBIT, customer satisfaction, and support business levers (e.g., channel shift, basket size, inventory, adherence improvements, and, operational efficiencies). Work closely with IT teams as a project lead to translate use cases into requirements and ensure that the solution meets requirements, and that the roll-out to business teams or external clients is successfully delivered. Identify critical success criteria for projects and ensure high quality and on-time delivery. Model the value of investments, including estimating impact of new capabilities on key business metrics. Work with business partners, IT teams, project team members and senior management, in managing project expectations. Work on data management, reporting tools and applications. Pull data and write complex queries with SQL. Business Data Steward for critical enterprise data assets.


Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Public Health or closely related field. Must have 3 years of healthcare related experience in: data analysis or business intelligence analysis. This 3 year period must have included 3 years in each of the following: project management; SQL; database management; data mapping; business analysis; tableau/visualization; and quality assurance. Less than 10% infrequent travel to meet with IT development team in Northbrook, IL. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
