CVS has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Benefits Pharmacist - Senior Manager to join our growing team. This role can be located at any of our HUB locations (Irving, TX, Northbrook, IL, Scottsdale, AZ and potentially a virtual work from home position)

As the Clinical Benefits Pharmacist - Senior Manager you will have the ability to oversee the day-to-day operations for our Clinical Operations Pharmacist team. This may vary per clients as the Clinical Ops Pharmacist may tailor to the client’s needs. They are responsible to confirm the Formularies and/or any Clinical Programs are set up in compliance with client request and based on CVS Health business rules/adjudication system. These Pharmacists gather clinical intent directly from clients and oversee the operational executions of that clinical programs/set up in adjudication, working closely with internal partners. You will work closely with the Clinical Advisor and Sales Team, Benefits Leadership, Account Managers and BRM’s and collaborates the roll out products and programs based on direction from the client.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
· Manages professional employees over the Clinical Ops Pharmacists
· Requires in-depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles of areas of responsibility. Knowledge of other disciplines related to CVS Adjudication, Clinical expertise, Drug File and gathering Client Clinical Intent
· Leads the team to identify and resolve challenges by analyzing information and determining the appropriate solutions
- Manage and develop a team dedicated to supporting the various areas of responsibilities by analyzing complex data, identifying root causes and assisting with driving to practical and creative solutions.
- Foster teamwork and a supportive departmental culture with an emphasis on ensuring exceptional client service. Team environment.
- Identify and implement departmental best practices to ensure employees are following best practices.

Required Qualifications
1+ year Client Facing experience
5+ years of clinical operations, clinical requirements, clinical coding, or similar field within a healthcare/PBM industry
5+ years of people leadership including capacity planning, quality management, and performance management
Licensed Pharmacist
Proven knowledge or tools for efficiency- Access Database, Excel Knowledge

Must be comfortable leading a remote team

Preferred Qualifications
PBM Experience
RxClaims experience experience


Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Pharm D preferred
