Check out this opportunity! In this role you will:
*Monitor, coach and counsel supervisors on issues regarding the pharmacy staff, quality, productivity and overall work performance.
*Communicate standard operating procedures and work instructions to supervisors and staff and ensure that employees are appropriately trained with the skills necessary to work in each area.
*Ensure that the established procedures concerning quality assurance are followed.
*Study and standardize procedures and workflow to improve efficiency and quality.
*Maintain a positive environment for successful compliance with EEO/AAP objectives.
*Responsible for hiring, training, coaching and monitoring performance of departmental personnel.
*Determine staffing requirements for the department.
*Responsible for the operating budget of the department.
*Work with supervisors to ensure understanding and adherence to the budget process.
*Develop supervisors in areas of pharmacy operations, employee relations.

Required Qualifications
*2 or more years Operations Management experience.
*Proven ability to translate business strategy into operational decisions.
*Ability to manage multiple projects.
*Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to lead groups of people successfully towards goals.
*Must be able to travel to multiple sites / Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time

Active IL pharmacist license in good standing

Preferred Qualifications
*5 or more years experience in Pharmacy Benefits Management or related field operation

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required
