Job Description CVS Health is currently hiring for a dynamic individual to join our team in helping people on their path to better health. As a SAS/SQL Reporting Lead Analyst, you will be a key strategic member of a team that provides metrics and analysis of a variety of financial operations functions, with a strong focus on Medicaid Encounters. You will lead efforts in the analysis, definition, documentation, and development of reports and processes to improve workflow and ensure the highest quality standards are being achieved.
The team works closely with internal and external partners to deliver key strategic projects, manage applications, and enhance financial operations processes. As part of the Reporting Team, you will work with various databases, handling operational, ad hoc, and regulatory reporting. You will train teammates on all systems and tools used within the department. An ideal candidate has the ability to lead projects, analyze complex database tables and files and define and provide assistance to resolve reporting issues, develop and lead projects and work teams.
Required Qualifications 5+ years of data mining and reporting experience (using industry standard tools)
5+ years of SAS or SQL experience
Preferred Qualifications5 years of VB or other programming language
5 years defining, developing, and testing reports using 4th generation tools
Previous experience with IBM AS/400 Query, RxClaim, AS400
Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) and/or Healthcare experience
Knowledge of Medicaid Encounters
Excellent Excel skills
Strong documentation skills EducationVerifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
Bachelors degree is preferred.
