Job Description
The Quality Assurance Analyst position exists to ensure the delivery of quality IT products. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analyzing, developing and executing formal test plans. Carries out procedures to ensure that all application products and services meet or exceed organization standards and business-user requirements. Responsible for delivering assignments within specified time frames, adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines individually or as a member of a project team. Participate in requirements and design reviews to thoroughly understand business needs to ensure comprehensive testing scenarios are performed. Apply defined QA Processes to plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate and report results of software testing under minimal supervision to ensure a quality product. Validate business requirements are fulfilled by the technical design and test scenarios. Perform comprehensive testing to prevent introduction of application defects into Regression, End to End, Client and Production environments. Report, monitor and verify application project defects as necessary. Gain application knowledge to efficiently and effectively perform position responsibilities Provide feedback on and suggestions for improving QA Processes to QA management.

Required Qualifications
-1+ years of hands on experience test planning and test execution including the following:
•In-depth knowledge of preparing test documentation: Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Case, Test Results and Test Summary reports
•Quality Center experience is a must
•Team player and works well with others.
•Pays keen attention to detail.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business language.
•Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
• Having problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Test experience on IBM, DB2 and/or AS400 testing is a highly preferred quality.
Green Screen testing is highly preferred.
Testing on IBM mainframe applications is a preferred skill.
Understanding of Web based testing and use of automation in testing approach is preferred.
Ability to solve problems with tight dead lines is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Will accept one year of work experience for each year of college not attained in addition to required years of experience.
