Job DescriptionEnsure that defined QA Processes are implemented in all aspects of project oversight (plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate). Review reports and results of software testing and provide input. Provide key input to the Manager of QA on QA process, project and program management and individual performance of QA FTE and contractor personnel. As recognized expert participate in knowledge transfers to ensure that system and business domain knowledge is maintained as QA members and contractors move between projects or other initiatives.
Provide feedback on and suggestions for improving QA Processes to QA management.
Stay on top of new technology trends in the QA, PBM and organizations with digital focus and decide if useful and/or feasible (ie financial impact) and make recommendations to the organization. Solve complex problems for projects or teams. Supports Production and Warrantee issues On Demand and as required and participates in release support for both major and minor releases. Represents QA in discussions with all aspects of project lifecycle related to Root Cause Analysis, mitigation of project risks, defect triaging and planning. Assist QA management in data gathering for QA metrics and improvements. Point of Contact for new projects and estimations, Identify efficiency improvements and enhance understanding of QA and CVSHealth knowledge.
Actively educate others in product knowledge as a subject matter expert. Review and Approve Stage Gate review forms. 5% domestic travel required.
Required QualificationsMaster’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT Security, Information Management, or a closely related technical field and 2 years of QA testing experience in the areas of Web and Mobile, including 2 years of experience with Web and Service Automation, Application Life Management Tool, SQL, Java and Excel Macros. Caremark, LLC will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience in lieu of a Master’s plus 2 years of experience. 5% domestic travel required.
