The role of Sr. Analyst, Omnicare L2 Application Support is a member of the Retail Production Support Service team focused on supporting Omnicare. This part of the company, provides a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long term care facilities and to other customers in the health care environment. We’re looking for an individual who can adapt easily to the fast paced production environment. It is also vital for you to have a deep understanding of the available and emerging IT technologies, best practices and methodologies (ITIL).
Preferred Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in Unix
- 3+ years of experience working in a production support environment, including user support, hardware support, and technical support of IT/Business procedures
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience resolving complex business and application problems and performance analysis
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge management and writing technical documentation (maintaining application support documentation and analyzing processes/tickets for opportunity for automation)
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL
- Experience with project prioritization and task completion for multiple support tickets.
- Experience in Healthcare Industry or PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management)
Education- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (If no degree, two additional years of experience are required for every year of college not completed in addition to years of experience.)
